Mai Salama, the Founding Partner of the Creative Industry Summit, revealed her company’s ambitious plan to expand regionally and internationally. She confirmed in an exclusive statement to CMOs magazine that the annual summit which first launched 10 years ago in Egypt will continue to expand in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in addition to several Arab and non-Arab countries, in the coming years.
She pointed out that this plan is part of their continuous endeavor – with her co-partner Neamaat Khalil – to spread the Egyptian women’s skills, culture, strength and intelligence to the whole world.
This statement came on the sidelines of the Creative Industry Summit, held at the prestigious Cairo Business Park in New Cairo in New Cairo, from October 21st to 22nd October under the theme of “Impact Beyond Years”, in partnership with Misr Italia Properties, the strategic partner of the event.
Salama added: “The summit is different from previous years’ counterparts in the size of regional participation, at the level of sponsors, speakers, and guests”.
Established in 2014, the Creative Industry Summit has transformed from a conference into a pivotal platform that drives the creative economy across the MENA region. Through its flagship festivals and year-round activities and programs, it has solidified its position as a key enabler of creative and cultural industries, with significant influence in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and beyond.
