Long COVID Europe (LCE) is a European network of Long COVID patient associations run by affected patients. LCE fights for better recognition of Long COVID and its impact on healthcare, social security, and society as a whole. The networks help provide decision makers with information about lived experience with post-acute infection syndromes as well as safe and effective care and urges governments to set up dedicated funding programs to research disease mechanisms, diagnostics and
treatments.
Its members include the Long COVID associations of several European countries. (Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, Long COVID Kids UK and Long COVID Physio (patient-led association of physiotherapists).
