General Electric Appliances, a US brand and a Haier company, launched a range of state-of-the-art air conditioners equipped with innovative and exclusive technologies in the Egyptian market during a ceremony that gathered a group of the company’s officials.

The event is a new start for the Haier Group in Egypt after being known in the home appliances sector since it broke into the Egyptian market a year ago through Haier Electric Company. The company has introduced innovative and unique products including; TVs, fridges, and washing machines. Through these products, Haier proved its success in achieving the complicated equation of providing sophisticated, reliable, and guaranteed products at reasonable and competitive prices.

Haier is a leading multinational Group founded in 1984 in China. It covers many investment sectors that make up the home appliance industry while providing logistics, finance, real estate, and Internet of Things products.

Thanks to its tremendous innovation and development capabilities, Haier has been able to rank first worldwide in the home appliance industry for 11 consecutive years. Meanwhile, Haier also ranked high on the World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies list released by the US-based Boston Consulting Group.

Before it arrived in Egypt, Haier became the No.1 appliances company worldwide thanks to its sales to 300 million households in 165 countries. Moreover, its innovations and products have won more than 170 international awards while its brand became the world’s 11th most prestigious brand.

Haier owns several appliances brands, including Haier, Casarte, Leader, the US General Electric Appliances, Fisher & Paykel in Australia &New Zealand, AQUA in Japan, Candy in Italy.

Haier’s strategy adopts tremendous innovations and solutions that benefit from modern-day technology means, especially the Internet of Things technologies. Haier managed to back its innovations thanks to an open global network that includes more than 1 million scientists, researchers, inventors, and experts around the world. They helped the company obtain 8987 patents so far, in addition to other patents amounting to about 14,000 patents under registration.

In light of providing the Egyptian consumer with the latest global technologies in air conditioners industry, General Electric a Haier company decided to introduce 25 air conditioners in Egypt, including 8 conditioners that will be launched for commercial operation in malls, hospitals, companies’ headquarters, banks, and other commercial establishments, in addition to 17 conditioners to be launched for domestic consumes.

General Electricair conditioners include several exclusive technologies,such as UVC and 3M filter on top of which is the air disinfectant and purifier, which eliminates the spread of infections in closed places, maintaining cleanliness and freshness of the air, thanks to the Pro self-cleaning technology that automatically clean the evaporator of the air conditioner to clean it from and bacteria-free air flow.

It is worth noting that General Electric air conditioner has topped the global sales for four consecutive years.

Haier Groupto inaugurate a new factory in Egypt, whichwas established in partnership with Raya Holding for Financial Investments, as part of its keenness to consolidate its presence in Egypt and inject further investments. The factory will be inaugurated in January 2021.
