Air Cairo & Sun Express conclude a cooperation agreement
Air Cairo the Egyptian hybrid operator and Sun Express the leisure operator concluded a cooperation agreement by which Air Cairo acts as the operating party to Sun Express the sales and marketing party.
The agreement avails an average 30 weekly scheduled frequencies between Hurghada in the red sea & 14 German, Swiss & Austrian Airports as of May 2021.
“This is the time to join forces at the German speaking markets, many people want to travel to the red sea, Sun Express knows better their market and Air Cairo knows better the destination” confirmed Hussein Sherif, Air Cairo chairman & CEO.
An expansion to include new routes within Europe shall take place while going through the application of the Agreement; the Benelux is a priority that will be followed by others.
The cooperation shall coincide with Air Cairo fleet additions of 5 new A320neo and the introductions of onboard streaming services in addition to the aircairo.com new look and functionality that includes meal selection, seat assignment and many other ancillary services.
