Shahid VIP – the Video-on-Demand platform, a subsidiary of MBC Group, started broadcasting the first season of “Tota Tota” series, the first of Shahid Originals’ kids-dedicated productions, since the beginning of the current holy month of Ramadan.

As well as being the world’s leading Arab broadcasting platform and the home of world-class Arabic original productions, this step reflects a strategic direction taken by “Shahid VIP” towards producing original contents for kids, to add this new style to its library of younger viewers which is full of many titles dedicated to children, teenagers and families through a selection of films, series and programs that can be watched under: “Kids Content”, “Disney in Arabic”, “Disney World”, “Disney Movies”, “Nickelodeon” and others.

“The interaction of the young people and the interest of parents and their support for the idea of implanting our values in their children indirectly by allocating content touches our reality, customs and traditions, have grabbed my attention”.. Danyah Al-Shafei.

Regarding the new series “Tota Tota” in its first season, Danyah Al-Shafei, the storyteller of the series, pointed out that this work is an educational and entertainment program at the same time, as its stories simulate the thinking level of children aged 3 to 6 years in an easy, simple and purposeful way.

Danyah, who is known for her long experience in the world of children’s programs produced by the MBC Group over the past years, added: “The name is inspired by the word (Hadotah), which are the stories that mothers and grandmothers tell to children before bedtime. The aim of the series is to develop a love of reading among children, and to provide content which provides them with meaningful ethical and social messages in a way that is compatible with both digital and electronic development in which we are living, at a time when tablets and other means of technology have become a concern of today’s generation.

While the content of children and adolescents on the “Watch VIP” platform is distinguished by its being safe thanks to the standards and features of censorship that allow for a privileged family viewership, this specific content provides an entertaining – educational and educational viewership experience, at a time when the available Arabic dubbing has sound linguistic features, which makes it a platform for honing children’s skills of  Arabic language in a way that parallels their school education.

Returning to “Tota Tota,” Danyah Al-Shafei concluded by noting that her recent experience was “more than wonderful,” as she described, praising for the interaction of the young people and the interest of parents and their support for the idea of implanting our values in their children indirectly by allocating content touches our reality, customs and traditions.

It is worth noting that “Watch VIP” plans soon to launch a second season of the “Tota Tuta” series, which adopts a gentle and comfortable style for the psyche of young viewers. The episodes start and end in a studio designed in the form of a bedroom equipped for children, while the world’s leading animation techniques used in the episodes provide visual companion to the narration of stories inspired by Arabic children’s books.
