The board of directors of the United Media Services Company decided to appoint Mr. Khaled Morsi as the head of Extra News Channel, and Mr. Ahmed Al-Tahri as his deputy, as part of the company’s development plan within all sectors.

It is worth noting that Khaled Morsi holds the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Al-Ahram Newspaper. He began his journalistic work at Al-Ahram Foundation more than 30 years ago and also worked in a number of Arab newspapers and magazines.

He also served as chairman of Al-Nahar Today TV Channel after he moved to work for Al-Nahar TV network in 2011. Then worked as head of the ON Live news channel in 2018, and he also assumed the presidency of the ON and Al-Hayat networks in the same year, as well as his position as general coordinator of both networks.

It is also worth noting that Mr. Ahmed El-Tahri is the editor-in-chief of Rose Al-Youssef magazine, he also worked as a consultant for D Media, and founded and took over as editor-in-chief of the International Club Center for Foreign Policy Studies, and also worked as the editor-in-chief of “Journal Misr” and director of Al-Watan office in Washington.

In addition to being a visiting fellow for a number of American research centers and Egypt’s representative in the International Visitor Leadership Program in the United States, and also a diplomatic editor for a number of Egyptian and Arab newspapers, in addition to his work as an announcer for Radio 9090.
