Multi award winning independent GCC agency W7Worldwide delivered a phenomenally successful communications campaign for MENA ISC 2021.  The Middle East and North Africa Information Security Conference represents the biggest Cybersecurity Conference in the MENA region.  Hosted by cybersecurity advisory company VirtuPort for the past 9 years, the 2021 event took place in Riyadh as a hybrid virtual event on 25th – 26th May, featuring the theme “Continuous Monitoring and Mitigation. Understanding the Impact in a 5G Era”.

Having been chosen as MENA ISC’s communications partner for the fifth year running on the strength of the agency’s strong cybersecurity and technology credentials, W7Worldwide handled the entire event communications and media center for the conference.  Building on its previous years’ experience of helping to continuously grow visibility and reach for this important industry event, W7Worldwide’s efforts attracted over 2,000 high caliber international and regional cybersecurity experts from more than 40 countries.

“Yet again, W7Worldwide succeeded in growing our audience and strengthening our credibility as the region’s most significant specialist cybersecurity conference.” says Samir Omar, CEO of VirtuPort.  “The difference in working with W7Worldwide as a local agency is their deep understanding of the cybersecurity sector issues specific to our region as a centre point for cyber-attacks and also the global growing cyber security risks organizations must manage.  Now into the fifth year of MENA ISC’s communications partnership with W7Worldwide, we benefit by having a sustainable and consistent communications platform in place that we can continually build on.”

“We are delighted to have achieved such tremendous results again for MENA ISC 2021, as this enables us to continue to elevate the event’s industry authority and thought leadership.” says Abdullah Inayat, Co-Founder and Director of W7Worldwide. “Cybersecurity is an increasingly important topic in every sector and across the globe.  It is a privilege and testament to our high-level industry expertise to be instrumental in making MENA ISC the most influential and biggest industry conference in the region.  We look forward to continuing to contribute to the conference’s growth in influence for many years to come.”

MENA ISC 2021 covers Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Egypt and Jordan, targeting 15 pivotal industry sectors, including oil & gas, financial, defence, education, government services, and information technology.  W7Wordwide’s Communication and PR campaign faced the additional challenge of taking place during Ramadan, which the team turned into an opportunity to reach online target audiences with 1,950,809,987 website Impressions, creating a buzz in the industry around the event.

MENA ISC 2021 brought together the best and brightest in the information security field, creating opportunities for conference attendees to learn about Cybersecurity’s most important issues through first-hand interactions with peers, luminaries, and top companies sponsoring the event. W7Worldwide’s ability to create innovative and engaging digital PR campaigns for Covid-19 mandated virtual event formats, coupled with its strong media relationships, delivered impactful national, regional and international specialist key target coverage featuring MENA ISC 2021.
