HUAWEI Ads – a programmatic advertising marketplace continues to be a driving force in the e-commerce world, proving its capabilities to support online apps and help them achieve their marketing campaign objectives. In the upcoming quarter’s e-commerce marketing season,HUAWEI Ads and ChicPoint are set to work together to bring great seasonal Black Friday offers.

ChicPoint is a cross-border mobile e-commerce platform focusing on the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regionthe app boasts over 100,000 products in over 100 sub-categories, including women’s and baby’s clothing, shoes, bags and household items. Approximately 91% of customers in the MENA region have evolved into digital natives in the recent past and intend to continue online purchases.  According to recent reports, MENA’s e-commerce sales will reach $50bn in 2022, up from $32 billion last year. In the past six months, 79% of smartphone users have made a purchase online using their mobile device, hence, ChicPoint realised that to succeed in the MENA market, it was first essential to capture smartphone users’ interest and initiated the collaboration with HUAWEI Ads.

Since the beginning of 2022, HUAWEI Ads has supported ChicPoint to launch campaign across the Gulf region (Saudi Arabia, UAE and Kuwait) utilising a suite of promotional features on AppGallery, including feature cards, top banner cards and rankings. Through the collaboration, ChicPoint has amplified organic downloads, boosting its monthly revenue by 40%, and reduced the app activation cost to less than US$1. In Saudi Arabia, Huawei stores have promoted the ChicPoint app offline to assist in improving the spread of offers. 99 lucky ChicPoint users will be selected to win valuable prizes from a wide range of HUAWEI devices including tablets, audio and wearables during the Black Friday season.

Hakam Bader, Co-Founder of ChicPoint, said: HUAWEI Ads’ support has been integral in the growth of the app since we started working with them, as we have achieved wonderful results in the past campaigns with HUAWEI Ads’ capabilities. We shall continue to do joint campaigns and promote great seasonal Black Friday offers to users, including daily flash sales, raffle activities and a MEGA sale up to 90% off from the 28th of October till the 31st of November. And we plan to develop richer and deeper cooperation with Huawei to achieve more business success.

HUAWEI Ads solution offers a variety of benefits that give exclusive marketing advantages such as: integrating online and offline resources, launching online campaigns with e-commerce capabilities, e-commerce audience precise targeting, dynamic shopping ads, oCPC bidding as well as retargeting.
