Gambit Communications Wins BMW Group Middle East PR Pitch

Following an extensive tendering process, Gambit Communications has been appointed BMW Group Middle East’s new PR agency in the region. The win sees Gambit take on PR and communications for the BMW and MINI brands across the region, working with the regional office and its network of importers in the GCC.

Dr. Hamid Haqparwar, Managing Director at BMW Group Middle East, said: “We are delighted to welcome Gambit Communications into our agency network and look forward to working with them to continue to tell BMW Group’s story of success in the region. Their experience makes them the right fit for us as we begin an important year, and we are excited to kick off.”

Jamal Al Mawed, Gambit Communications’ Founder and Managing Director said: “Having worked on the BMW Group Middle East account in one of my first roles in PR, it gives me immense pride to now win them as a client at Gambit Communications. We have an in-depth understanding of their brands and the sector and look forward to creating award-winning work with them. The core of the BMW brand is ‘Joy’, and that’s the perfect word to describe this moment.”

The Dubai-born independent communications agency handles a range of multinational brands including TikTok, Acer, Amazon Payment Services and Mandarin Oriental. They were recently crowned ‘Homegrown Agency of the Year’ for the second year running at the MEPRA Awards 2022, to add to their PRCA Regional Medium Agency of the Year 2022 title.
