CMA CGM Group, a world leader in shipping and logistics, is pleased to announce the evolution of its JEDDEX service covering Aqaba and Ain Sokhna.
With this development, the Group will be offering a competitive transit time from / to Egypt and the Kingdom of Jordan, to Mogadishu and Mombasa, in addition to a wider offer for the Intra Red Sea Market.
The service will provide a connection between the USA, the Mediterranean Sea, Europe, Kenya and Somalia with an improved transit time that will positively impact the reefer cargo trade and the sensitive cargo in dry box.
The line will deploy CMA CGM BRAZIL 15,128 TEUs (Twenty-foot Equivalent Units) which has become the largest vessel to ever call the port of Sokhna. The vessel which is currently deployed on the Far-East – Red-Sea service, measures 366 meters and is 51 meters wide.
With this development, CMA CGM Group is determined to contribute to the economic development of the country. With 20 services to Egypt, the Group offers end-to-end solutions and services connecting Egypt to the rest of the world.
