Mall of the Emirates and Anghami Join Forces: A Powerful Partnership for Mental Health Awareness

In mall activation with Anghami to take place at Mall of the Emirates from June 6th to June 10th

Majid Al Futtaim, the leading shopping mall, communities, retail and leisure pioneer across the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia, has partnered with Anghami, the leading music and entertainment streaming platform in the MENA region to help enhance the well-being of the community and reshape conversations around mental health. This collaboration is a testament to both Majid Al Futtaim Shopping Malls and Anghami’s commitment in addressing the importance of mental health in society and providing a platform for individuals to prioritize their wellbeing.

This collaboration sets the stage for an upcoming in-person activation at Mall of the Emirates running from June 6th until June 10th.  The activation aims to raise awareness around mental health and create a supportive environment where individuals can share their thoughts and stories. Additionally, a one-day private event will be held in Mall of the Emirates, featuring a panel discussion with distinguished professionals, leaders, podcasters, and members of the media, further amplifying the importance of mental health.

In May, Anghami introduced “Sukoon – Your Mindful Circle”, an initiative that revolutionizes discussions around mental health and promotes inclusivity and support. Sukoon provides a safe and welcoming space for individuals to engage in conversations about neglected and stigmatized topics, including Grief, Trauma, Abuse, and Burnout. Users had the unique opportunity to interact anonymously with mental health experts through the app, sharing their questions and concerns.

This endeavor allows us to forge connections with our community and foster a wholesome environment, ensuring delightful experiences for everyone, each day,” said Fuad Mansoor Sharaf, Managing Director, of the UAE Shopping Malls, at Majid Al Futtaim Properties.

This partnership allows us to create meaningful offline experiences that provide a supportive space for individuals to prioritize their mental health. Majid Al Futtaim Shopping Malls and Anghami’s collaboration represents a significant milestone in the journey towards promoting mental well-being and initiating important conversations about mental health. By leveraging their respective strengths and resources, both organizations are working together to create a positive impact in the lives of individuals and communities.
