Magic Land Al-Hokair, owned by the leading Abdulmohsen Al-Hokair Group in the tourism and development sector, announced the appointment of Marwa Amr as Chief Marketing Officer at Tanza, the group’s new project in Egypt in cooperation with the Egyptian Media Production City company (EMPC).
In this role, Marwa will take charge of setting the strategy and the vision of the company and for the new project, working on the concept of the project and carefully choosing the operators who would fit within the group’s vision and of course working on the customer excellence journey inside the place alongside the usual Marketing activities that the role entitles.
Commenting on her new role, Marwa Amr said: “After more than 15 years in Real Estate Marketing with many success stories; I decided to take a new challenge with a very prominent project: TANZA by Magicland Alhokair; a project that aims to redefine the entertainment scene in Egypt. Although the entertainment sector is new to my experience yet a very interesting one.”
She added: “The concept behind Tanza came from a very important insight; We are bound inside the offices for more than 8 hours a day and when we want to chill or relax it is always the same outings, and if someone is lucky enough; will travel abroad on long vacations seeking new destinations with adventure for a gateway. That’s why we decided to create a destination that fills the gap. An outdoor destination that caters to different age groups and different statuses with 7 experiences Rarely found under the same roof.”
Marwa affirmed that the group’s vision for TANZA by Magicland Alhokair is to redefine the entertainment scene in Egypt.
With nearly 16 years of experience in real estate marketing, Marwa Amr was a key contributor to achieving the goals of several companies, by applying international standards in developing integrated and successful destinations.
Before assuming her current position as CMO at Tanza by Magic Land Al Hokair, Marwa held the positions of Marketing Director at Mountain View Egypt, iwan Developments, and The Land Developers. In addition, Marwa held the position of marketing director at Kuwadico, where she worked to relaunch the company’s identity in the real estate market through a new marketing strategy.
Marwa Amr obtained an MBA in Global Marketing from ESLSCA Business School in Paris in 2020. She continues to build her career and achieve success in the field of marketing and business management.
It is noteworthy that Magic Land Al-Hokair, has launched the Tanza project in cooperation with the Egyptian Media Production City company on a usufruct basis. Tanza is the first and largest integrated entertainment destination in Egypt, with investments totaling one billion and one hundred million Egyptian pounds. It covers an area of 250 thousand square meters.
This new launch aims to reshape and redefine the entertainment concept in Egypt through its unique business model and comprehensive entertainment agenda, which is the first of its kind in Egypt and the Middle East. The project offers authentic and unique experiences reflecting adventure and nature to suit all age groups and cater to all family members in one place.
