inDrive offers an Umrah Trip and smartphones for Ramadan Contest

inDrive, the leading mobility and urban services platform in Egypt and the MENA region, has launched a special contest for drivers in Egypt. This initiative commenced on the 10th of March and will run till the  9th April in Cairo only.

Participating drivers will have the extraordinary opportunity to win a truly exceptional grand prize: a free Umrah trip package, fully sponsored by inDrive. Other prizes include smartphones and vouchers for groceries, fuel and cash.

This is the inaugural event of its kind for ride-hailing drivers in Egypt, following which inDrive plans to support their esteemed driver communities with the same contest in other Middle Eastern countries, such as Morocco and Algeria. inDrive’s objective in holding this contest is to motivate drivers, enabling them to achieve financial gains and secure prizes, as well as win Umrah trips for Ramadan.

Conditions of the contest:

inDrive is offering an all-expenses-paid Umrah package as a prize. The package covers flight costs, accommodation, and transportation. The five participating drivers who complete the highest number of trips during the contest period will be eligible to win this package.

In addition, the first 25 participating drivers to achieve 350 trips will have an opportunity to win smartphones, while the first 100 drivers to achieve 300 rides will be rewarded with grocery or fuel vouchers worth 1000 EGP.

The first 1737 participating drivers to achieve 250 trips will win e-vouchers worth 600 EGP, for use during the time period specified for the competition.

Moataz Toba, Business Development Manager for inDrive in Egypt, said: “With the Umrah contest, we wish to encourage our drivers in Egypt with the opportunity to win valuable prizes , in addition to earning the income they get from using our application on a daily basis. We challenge them to be among inDrive’s winners during Ramadan this year.”

Toba added: “By providing such competitions, inDrive hopes to strengthen its driver community – the main pillar of our company – and make life better for our drivers.”
